JOIN ECVA

Episcopal Church & Visual Arts, Inc., a 501c3 Corporation, invites member artists and guest artists to submit their original work for consideration for online exhibitions whose purpose is encouraging the visual arts in the life of The Episcopal Church.

The Artists Registry is the Membership Program of Episcopal Church & Visual Arts, Inc. Members of The Artists Registry are members of ECVA, and benefit from the opportunity to participate in ECVA's online exhibitions and member programs. To learn more and to join, visit The Artist Registry here.

EXHIBIT WITH ECVA

ECVA strives to provide several exhibitions each year, with occasional Special Exhibtions that explore special themes of interest to the curator. Overseen by an Exhibition Curator, each ECVA exhibition has a Call to Artists that outlines the theme for exhibiting artists. ECVA members are encouraged to propose exhibition themes and nominate curators for consideration for future exhibitions. One example of a recent ECVA Exhibition is "Universal Christ - Who Is This Christ?", viewable online at ecva.org here.

Exhibition requirements are straightforward, and are outlined in this downloadable PDF. In brief, submitting artists are requested to follow the guidelines below and email your images to entry@ecva.org:

• Send a digital image that is 72 dpi., and is 600 px, and is under 1MB, and in jpg.,tif or png format.

• Name your image file this way: your name and artwork title, example John-Smith—Title, jpg.

• For video/film works, in addition to a digital image (still shot) from your video, include a link at Vimeo or YouTubeRed account. Videos from YouTubeStandard accounts will not be considered.

• Check that you included your artist statement for each work and your artist bio at registration. If you did not, you need to include that with this submission.

• Include your name, your preferred email address, and your contact phone number.

JOIN THE ARTIST RESOURCE DIRECTORY

Membership with ECVA at The Artists Registry provides the artist with an entry into The Artist Registry Resource Directory. This lists member artist information with searchable keywords such as name, state, diocese, denomination, and religious affiliation. Member artists are encouraged to keep their directory listing up-to-date, and to share their listing with their galleries and patrons. Search The Artists Registry here.
