Blood Lines and Traffic Routes

Egg tempera
18"x24"

Artist Statement: The Blood Lines are the red lines that portray the trade routes used for air travel and transport. Our planet has been given a unique ecological stillness for humanity’s benefit and growth. We are being forced in to ask who and how we are with ourselves, one another, and the created order.

Jesus often emphasized the words, “Do not be afraid”. The delicate equilibrium that exists in the natural world took billions of years to establish, yet in a mere 500 years, we have managed to disrupt and harm the Earth’s health and balance. Pray and do as you need to do for the love of self and the Earth.
